Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society

Under the presidency of Guy Bouthillier, and with Robin Philpot as director of communication, the St-Jean-Baptiste Society of Montreal thrived to reach out the various cultural communities of Québec. Contrasting sharply with the steady flow of articles trying to stain the reputation of Québec's nationalists by accusing them of xenophobia, these honest efforts to create ties among Quebecers of all origins and mother tongues did not go by unnoticed.

Far from being afraid of others, Québec nationalists continue to preach the old motto of the Institut canadien of Montreal: "Justice for us, justice for all; reason and liberty for us, reason and liberty for all."
