The independentists of Québec believe that building a free, egalitarian and truly democratic Republic for the only French-speaking nation in an all English-speaking North America is the best thing that we could possibly achieve to promote cultural and linguistic diversity in today's world. As we say in French, "Vive la différence!".

Politics of language diversity
Québec's language policy is a progressive legal instrument protecting the linguistic human rights of ALL Quebecers: Remember that the French-speaking majority of Quebec is a real linguistic minority inside Canada while the English-speaking "minority" of Quebec is the real linguistic majority inside Canada.
