The independentists of Québec believe that building a free, egalitarian and truly democratic Republic for the only French-speaking nation in an all English-speaking North America is the best thing that we could possibly achieve to promote cultural and linguistic diversity in today's world. Québec's language policy is a progressive legal instrument protecting the linguistic human rights of ALL Quebecers: Remember that the French-speaking majority of Quebec is a real linguistic minority inside Canada while the English-speaking "minority" of Quebec is the real linguistic majority inside Canada.
